Preview (Filmposter), 2002 The three-dimensional phantasy-like writing „Preview“ hovers on a nightblue background, mounted behind mirroring acrylic glass. The typeface seems old and weathered like an ancient gravestone or a forgotten inscription in the desert, but it could also be the title of some gothic horror or phantasy movie. On one hand the term „Preview“ itself is linked to the field of perception, the seeing before seeing, an instinctive form of inner vision. On the other hand Preview II obviously refers to the movie system, meaning the screening of a movie before its actual public release. With the initial P dismissed taking on further cinematic parameters, and formally in the shape and size of a film poster here with all its usual information of credits like actors, technicians, and production companies missing.
